  : Location is fantastic, easy to walk into the centre of Florence, apartment is lovely inside, large, comfortable, good sized bathroom, just across the way from the train station. Welcome bottle of wine and water much appreciated I would stay here again if the check in process was simplified and if the WiFi worked
  : The online check in system sent to me a couple of days prior was onerous. The form was not working and a big fuss was made even though most of my details including passport, selfie, all information for myself was already provided and payment had already been taken. We had to arrange to meet one of the staff at the apartment to receive the keys, Federico helped us with our luggage, much appreciated as the lift wasn't working. On arrival he needed me to complete the information for the second guest (my mother) however, as the WiFi wasn't working he needed to do it on my mobile phone. He advised he would get someone to fix the WiFi, they did try but it was never fixed during our 4 night stay which was disappointing as I needed access to my work emails.

  : We had problems with the Wi-Fi, and they sent a technician in 15 minutes to solve the problem. But the experience with the check-in was horrible and traumatizing, totally ruined the experience. Check-in information is not clear at the place. It is a large building with several apartments and no information on the outside, no sign written "Mamo", you cannot know if it is the right place. We called at the number indicated, as informed in the check-in email, and the door was opened for us. When we entered, inside there was a man who identified himself as responsible for "Residenza Millennium", Mamos neighboring apartment, on the same floor. He checked our reservations at the beginning, he knew that we were there for Mamo House and not for Residenza Millennium. Yet, he made us climb the stairs with our heavy luggage pretending that he would show us the correct place. When we went up, he began to act very truculently, shouting and trying to humiliate us at all costs, making xenophobic and racist offenses and making many threats. He put us out of the building, down the stairs with the luggage again. I was with my father, an elderly man, and with my mother, a physically disabled woman, and yet he forced us to go up and down the stairs more than necessary with the aim of causing trouble and physical damage. We were harassed, assaulted, and prevented from entering the apartment. We had to call again at Mamo House to enter again. We were allowed by Mamo to enter, and yet that man came back and started all over again, trying to put us out again and making many threats. He even threatened to call the police and seemed to want to assault us even physically. We were forced into a heated argument to avoid being expelled, which made us very nervous and cornered. We called the Mamo Florence team again reporting the fact and finally managed to get into the apartment.
